Healthy white air-pruned root system on a forestry tube
Built for the job

Built for High-Volume Native Tree and Forestry Propagation

Native trees and forestry seedlings need deep cells to develop strong taproots, not the shallow modules of generic seedling trays. The 40-Cell Forestry Tube Tray pairs 40 deep 50mm square tube pots with a sturdy carry tray, letting professional propagators raise a full tray of healthy native trees in the footprint of a handful of traditional pots.

Australian-made, air-pruned, and built for commercial native nurseries, revegetation projects, and serious home propagators raising native stock in volume.

The three things that matter

  • 01
Carry 40 plants in one go
Pick up the tray, not forty wobbly pots. The reinforced carry frame holds the whole grid together — no toppled pots, no spilled mix, no trips back to the bench.
  • 02
    Deep cells for proper taproots
122mm deep pots give natives the vertical room they need. Roots run straight down, not in circles — so seedlings transplant strong and keep growing.
  • 03
    Air pruning at the base
The raised tray lifts each pot off the bench, exposing the drainage slots to air. Roots stop the moment they hit air at the base — branching into a dense fibrous ball instead of spiralling, so no pot-bound stock at planting time.
And built to last a working lifetime.
Australian made
Manufactured locally in Australia, supporting local industry.
UV-stabilised
Won't go brittle in the Aussie sun. Hose out and restack year after year.
10+ year lifespan
A one-time investment. Most growers are still using their first batch years later.
Who it's for

From the back patio to the back paddock.

The same tray works for the farm replanting a windbreak, the propagator raising stock for the season, and the gardener growing their own natives at home.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

The things propagators ask us before buying.

What plants suit these tube pots?+
Designed for Australian natives — eucalypts, acacias, banksias, callistemons, melaleucas, grevilleas, kangaroo paw, and most forestry stock. The 122 mm cell depth and air-pruning at the base train a strong taproot, which is what natives need to survive the move into the ground.
Can the pots and trays be reused?+
Yes — UV-stabilised and built to last 10+ seasons. Hose them out, let them dry, restack and refill. Both the tray and the individual pots nest empty to save storage space between propagation cycles.
How long until seedlings are ready to plant out?+
For most natives, 8–16 weeks from sowing depending on species and season. You'll know they're ready when roots are visible through the air-pruning slots at the base and the seedling is firm in its cell.
How much does shipping cost?+
Shipping is free Australia-wide on every order — no minimum spend, no surcharges for regional addresses or bulk orders.
