Traditional Japanese cut paste for sealing pruning wounds on deciduous bonsai and garden trees. The putty seals over the top of the wound while the tree heals beneath, keeping moisture in and pests and disease out.
The paste stays flexible on the tree, is easily worked by hand, and helps wounds callus faster and cleaner.
How to use
After pruning, knead a small amount and press it over the cut, covering the exposed cambium edge. Leave in place while the wound calluses; the paste can be peeled away once healed.
